Masham Bouclé

The Masham sheep is a cross between the Teeswater (or Wensleydale) and Northern Hill (Swaledale or Dalesbred). Masham originated in Northern England, and have a particular love for the hills. The Masham sheep is noted for its motherly instincts and longevity as a sheep. Its wool is recognized as being soft and having a long fleece, at a 33.5-35 micron. Perfect for making.

Bouclé is a type of yarn that is plied at a looser tension, forming curls.
